My mother went through an 11-year battle with Alzheimer’s until we lost her five years ago. Having previously been on the Board of the Alzheimer’s Association’s CT Chapter, I am very excited to be involved with a Charity that is now bringing such care back to CT and beyond. CaringKind provides such care, to both the patient as well as the caregiver, and has expanded into Connecticut with plans for further expansion.
Without CaringKind’s services in CT, or such similar services, our family lacked the resources that my father and family personally needed as we dealt with the terrible effect of the disease. Such care is now available to families dealing with Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
I am pleased to be a Co-Chair of Connecticut’s first inaugural gala in CT on Thursday, May 14th from 6-8pm in Westport, CT at The Fairfield County Hunt Club. Our Goal is to raise $150,000+.
