Christopher J. Lara is a commercial real estate professional with the Febbraio Commercial Team at Berkshire Hathaway. With nearly 15 years in the industry and more than a decade focused on the restaurant and hospitality sector, he advises and represents entrepreneurs, operators, and investors in acquisitions, leasing, and business sales throughout Connecticut.
In addition to brokerage, Mr. Lara advises hospitality operators and small businesses on expansion, operations, and strategic growth. He has also been involved in several restaurant development projects totaling nearly $10 million in buildout costs, serving as an owner’s representative overseeing planning, vendor coordination, and buildout execution. Earlier in his career, he helped launch a Connecticut-based fitness startup focused on bringing trainers and wellness programming directly to residential buildings and apartment complexes.
He currently serves as Co-Chair of the 2026 Hope Blooms Gala for CaringKind, helping lead the organization’s inaugural Connecticut fundraising initiative. His involvement is personal following the loss of his grandmother to Alzheimer’s disease, which inspired his commitment to raising awareness and supporting families and caregivers affected by dementia.
Born in Queens, New York and raised in Milford, Connecticut, Mr. Lara has lived throughout Fairfield County and remains active in the region’s business and entrepreneurial communities.
